I’m honored to share some incredible news—I’ve been accepted into the Gerry Spence Method (GSM) 3-Week Trial Lawyers College Program held at the renowned Thunderhead Ranch in Dubois, Wyoming.

This isn’t just any professional development opportunity. It’s an intensive, immersive, and transformative experience that will elevate both my legal practice at Gallien Law and my broader mission through the Corrie Gallien Collective.
Why This Matters
The Gerry Spence Method is rooted in authentic storytelling and emotional connection—principles that align deeply with how I approach advocacy. Founded by legendary trial lawyer Gerry Spence, this program is designed to help trial attorneys shed pretense and speak with unshakable truth and clarity in the courtroom. It’s not just about mastering techniques—it’s about becoming a more self-aware, courageous, and impactful advocate.

Through the GSM’s signature approach, I’ll dive into:
- Voir dire, opening statements, and cross-examination through the lens of personal narrative
- Psychodrama techniques that uncover the emotional truths of a case
- Building true connection and trust with jurors
- Harnessing the power of vulnerability to deliver justice with empathy
The Impact on My Career
This experience will directly shape how I represent injured clients through Gallien Law, where we focus on delivering legal services with clarity, care, and conviction. It will also empower me as I grow the Corrie Gallien Collective, where I speak, write, and teach on trauma-informed advocacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
Understanding how to tell powerful, emotionally resonant stories in the courtroom makes me a better lawyer. But understanding how to connect my own story to my work—that makes me a more grounded leader and advocate across every platform I serve.

A Journey of Connection—in Court and in Community
I’m especially excited to connect with the other incredible attorneys attending this year’s program. We are all coming from different parts of the country, bringing unique experiences, and meeting on common ground—with a shared purpose: to become more authentic and effective voices for justice.
And where better to reflect, grow, and build those bonds than surrounded by the breathtaking mountains of Wyoming? I can’t wait to soak in the beauty of Thunderhead Ranch, step into nature, and be fully present for the deep work ahead—both personally and professionally.

What’s Next
Over the coming weeks, I’ll share glimpses of the journey and what I’m learning. I’m grateful for this opportunity and look forward to bringing these lessons back to the courtroom, the conference stage, and every space where I show up to advocate and lead.
📌 Note: This post is cross-published on both Brief Write by Gallien Law and Corrie’s Story by the Corrie Gallien Collective, to reflect the shared impact on my legal practice and personal brand.
